Web Development & DesignDevelop the technical and creative skills needed to create and manage websites while earning an Associate in Applied Science degree. In today's world, every business needs a website and a skilled web developer they can trust. Whether you want to be a web page designer, webmaster or web developer, you'll develop a valuable skill-set here that the workforce needs.

Learn the core technology skills in your first year before advancing to web-specific topics in your second year of the Web Development and Design program. Become competent in your creative ability to develop informative, easy-to-use websites and mobile designs using Adobe Fireworks, Flash and Dreamweaver. You'll also receive technical training in writing HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript code. Finally, you'll also be acquainted with creating online games in year two.

Explore your creativity and hone your technical skills as you train in every aspect of the profession. Enter the workforce feeling competent in your ability to write code, create web graphics.

  10. Create interactive media experiences for embedded use on webpages
  11. Transfer websites to the live internet via file transfer protocol
  12. Improve code accuracy by using standard debugging tools and testing methodologies
